The upcoming compilation of Bombay Talkies, for the first time features four Indian directors, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap, coming together to celebrate 100 years of cinema. However, the interesting fact is that Kashyap's story will have a song which could be called as the Bachchan Anthem.
The track which is a perfect link to the story line, celebrates the megastar Amitabh Bachchan who has given 50 years to cinema, signifying what Mr. Bachchan is for the Indian audience.
A source says, "Amitabh Bachchan is an icon in the film industry, and has given blockbuster, memorable films as his body of work."
As for the song, it will have a lot of kids, dressed in different avatars donned by Big B, over the years in his movies. The kids will be performing on the song composed by Amit Trivedi and choreographed by Remo.
The song goes, 'Sitaaron ki shaan hai jo, woh Bachchan, cinema ka imaan hai jo, woh Bachchan, reelon se dilon tak, aya re aya re.. chhaya re, bachcha bachcha gaaye, from bachpan bachpan.' Bombay Talkies is slated for releases on May 3.
